Peace on Purpose

Dear C3 Conscious Co-Creatives,

I am hoping to connect with like minded conscious creatives who feel spiritually guided to do the work they are doing as part of their life purpose. If you are among those who consider this to be an extraordinary global consciousness awakening time we are living in with a desire to communicate to this to others let me know your thoughts on this. Plants with a serious appetite

by Dr. Reese Halter

The most remarkable aspect of nature is how organisms have carved out an existence in the harshest of environments.

Plants, as an example, have adapted to live in soggy and sometimes perpetually saturated soils and ponds that are extremely acidic, very nutrient poor but with lots of bugs buzzing around. They still survive, like all other green plants, from the sun’s energy. But they’ve also learned to supplement nutrient deficient soil from an unusual… Continue

Visualizing the Future

Joanne and I recently attended an amazing presentation by Robert Tennyson Stevens at the Elevate Films headquarters. Robert's Mastery Systems gives "tools and techniques for individuals to know their own highest choices in any situation, to express their choices with ease and clarity, and to have full-body alignment (head and heart) in their choices."

One of the techniques he discussed is something I've been using for a long time: visualizing the completed job. I wrote about it in… Continue

Riding the blue and green corporate wave

by Dr. Reese Halter

Nature has a warehouse of proven principles and a research and development laboratory with four billion years of product development. Many corporations draw their ideas, information and inspiration from ecosystems like prairies, coral reefs and/or ancient forests.

When we follow nature’s blueprint, economic, social and environmental abundance occurs.

We know that in living systems the behavior of the parts operate to benefit the entire… Continue

Universities and Innovation News and Support Request

As a big supporter of USC and the work they are doing in innovation and entrepreneurship, I would like to pass on this request. I believe that it is time for us to begin to look at different ways that we can all begin to work together to tap our rich resources for solutions -- ie universities, both the academics and the students. I was extremely fortunate to attend a conference that was open to the public produced by the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism's Center on Public…

Taking a glimpse at a parched world

by Dr. Reese Halter

One stark reality of climate change is drought. It is deadly and history reminds us that it annihilated powerful civilizations including: Akkadian, Moche, Tiwaniku, Mayan, and Pueblo peoples.

Without fresh water all life perishes.

Australia is beginning its eleventh year of drought. Water rationing at homes and at businesses is a reality. The government has given each household waterproof timer’s and recommends four-minute… Continue

You are a product of your genetics... NOT

It has been well known in biological sciences for some time now that you are a product of your genes - that is, except when you are not. Epigenitics, we now know, governs which genes are allowed to express themselves in our physical bodies.

Here's a quote from the recent Time article on the topic (http://www.time.com/time/health/article/0,8599,1951968-1,00.html):

"At its most basic, epigenetics… Continue
