I am an artist and have created global peace projects for many years beginning with the MIA/POW movement during the Vietnam conflict. Now I do projects through my non profit org. GREAT HEARTS AFIRE FOUNDATION: www.greatheartsafire.org.
I am interestd in the brain sciences and physics.
I am a synesthete. My first paintings were translations of sound into color. Later, I began painting inner visions that began appearing after a life a changing event. The early visions were figurative archetypes. Now my art is considered to be 'Non Figuratuve Visionary'. My art has been shown in museums and galleries worldwide.
I have traveled, worked and lived in 14 countries. I am a mediator.
Taking everyone with you on the ride. Never going in reverse. Ignoring trends and fashion. Realizing the power of Word, Action and Image. Creating from a state of present intended focus. Intended focus being 'For the Good of All' and 'Do No Harm'. Being aware and committed to the intended focus.
My vision of the future:
My life vision and my art visions are ever present and emerge from a realization of form and formlessness being one and the same.. This is impossible to paint. The inner visions only point toward this. I attempt translate these as best as possible. In one sense, the paintings are diagrams of fundamental impulses of the mind and the Origin held in Cosmic suspension.
My vision for my Foundation www.greatheartsafire.org is to make change in the world by having thousands of people world wide come together as 'Great Hearts' through identifying themselves and wearing the Great Heart bracelet.
My vision is that this will support many more of the childrens projects at the Foundation.
I am really good at:
Seeing more visions than I can paint and conceptualizing more projects than I can do.
Encouraging others to 'raise the bar.
Refusing the 'statis quo'.
Not flinching in the face of adversity.
I could use help with:
Having more people join "The Great Heart Project" at www.greatheartsafire.org. More people need to be honored for the good works they are doing by receiving the Great Heart bracelet.
Promoting this project.
I need someone in neuro science who will research the Portals in Motion DVD using an fMRI. This was produced for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Getting thousands of people to wear the bracelet thus making visible a global statement toward peace.
Having gallery representation and exhibit opportunities.
Tools I use...
For art: Inner focus is the main tool. I use various technical means and mediums in painting. I am self taught and continue to learn new techniques.
For humanitarian projects: The people involved become the tools. Some have been heads of state; others people on the beach or at the park.
Information and impressions I have gathered from living, working and traveling in 14 countries.
I am looking for (services):

Haydn, my new friend, I have now made the rounds to all of your social networking portals. As fellow artists we seem to have one mind, one consciousness, of course we knew that before we met in this virtual reality. Thanks again for being out there, both in good deeds and talent. My wife also works with PTSD victims, not so much now with vets but in her new private practice in New Mexico.
Thank you Haydn,
I also entered to your web page and saw your brilliant pictures.
Excuse me for repliyng late, because I was travelling around some African countries, and returned with so many inspirations. Of course it will be my pleasure to come and see you and your son where I visit the States once a year.
Hope to see
