Well, first report in of working with Maestro as a beta customer - eh... eh.... can you say.... frustrating. Evidently I got a lesson in making lemonade from lemons. Tested it beforehand (ALOT) so I wouldn't get stuck during the call. During the lesson, at times, people couldn't hear me, I went in and out. At some point, I hung up and had to dial back in. Major embarrassment. I will give it another try though.... to see if working out my internet connection may have an impact.

Thanks Eliana, for sharing the money video. It is helpful for my ongoing study of productivity—its changing meanings and our changing cultural perspectives regarding which human activities are considered valuable.

Kate, the software at hilosoft is definitely interesting. I think it can be helpful for many. Personally, I love desktop publishing; creating my own spreadsheets, project charts, and other documents in Word is the best way to stay organized.

Thanks Kate, Maestro looks very interesting...may actually help to organize my whacky dreams & visions into a working form!

Very interesting Kate. In visiting the site, I see they work with Maestro software. I have heard people speak of that. I know of one person who has used it and they seem to like it. Much more, I don't know. I will ask around.

Here is a great video of Byron Katie doing the Work with someone on the issue of money. It's a great inquiry that provides lots of freedom
Comment by Kate McCallum on May 17, 2009 at 9:53pm Any thoughts about this? Anyone know of it? Tried it? Heard about it? Hmmmm.... Could be useful!

I'm so glad to see this group on C3...I'm intrigued by all the "stuff" surrounding money. I'm comfortable with the idea that it will ebb and flow throughout my life, but I have faith that I hold the wisdom and resources to live well outside of "the numbers." I've lived through some pretty meager times, but have never felt poor...well, except when my Mom couldn't buy me those Jordache jeans in eighth grade ;) I value the insights each of you have shared, thank you!!

Thanks for the link to the biz models for monetizing web apps. After been around the block - money making, yuppie on the spiritual path, monk, avowed ascetic, stuck in spiritual pride around money, then coming back to a middle ground, I appreciate the role of money today, and learning to have a loving relationship with it. Glad to have this thread.
