Welcome to the dark half of the year! The autumn equinox 10 days ago marked the point of equal day / equal night. From now on, the days get shorter and the nights get longer. Great for us night owls! The darkness invites us to turn within and face our shadow selves - the part of us that we don't want to own. But the paradox is - if we embrace and integrate our shadow, we get to embody greater personal POWER. Here's wishing you a most EMPOWERED autumn season!

If you believe in the power of music...

Steve Robertson believes that music has the power to change emotional states, change perceptions and physiology, and elevate spiritual awareness - even to the point of creating Peace on Earth. Steve's 24-year-long endeavor Project Peace on Earth is a digitally distributed global Musical Prayer for Peace that enables the world's most spiritually inspired and famed musicians to perform from wherever they may be - the comfort of their home, a personal or historic sacred site, while on tour or during a concert, or from the central host concert stage of Manger Square, Bethlehem, and plug into a unified 6-hour global broadcast for peace on November 11, 2011 (11.11.11). Proceeds from the concerts go to meet the needs of children living in poverty.  You can contribute to this worthy cause by donating here.

Watch and comment on State of the Arts 2011

The State of the Arts: Producing Change event we co-produced with the PGA: Producers Guild of America and The Millennium Project on Sept. 15th was a HUGE SUCCESS! Thanks to all who attended the Global Arts & Media Node think tank in the afternoon, and the E-lanthropy panel in the evening. And a big thank you to all our vastly talented and accomplished panelists. We truly appreciate everyone who added their voice to the ongoing dialogue. Thanks too, to our wonderful artists for contributing to the great atmosphere for our evening mixer and inside the dome, and to all our great business partners and sponsors without whom this event would not be possible.

Congratulations to Producer/Writer Tim Kring for being the first recipient to receive the c3: Center for Conscious Creativity FUTUREVISION award his innovative work creating Conspiracy for Good.

If you couldn't join us, there is still a way for you to contribute your voice:

"Migrations" New Immersive Theatre Experience

When: Sunday, November 6, 2011
Time:  7pm to 9:30pm
Los Angeles Center Studios
1037 West 6th Street
Los Angeles, CA 90017
Price: $25 - Purchase tickets here

"Migrations"  is an original Visual Music, globally co-created performance produced by the c3, The Art of Sound, and Vortex Immersion Media. "Migrations" is designed as a new immersive theatrical experience for the Vortex Immersive Dome Theaters, which can also travel anywhere to create unique location performances.

Composers No'a Winter Lazerus and South African artist, Francois LeRoux (HA!Man), along with visual artist and visionary Audri Phillips, and four extraordinary "Guest Artists;" Sonja Drakulich, Benjii Simmersbach, Octavius and Spencer Ludwig, will explore the nature and concept of migrations.

The show consists of two 40 minute long original visual music performances involving artists from around the world. We envision "Migrations" as a traveling dome show which can be presented anywhere via portable dome theaters or planetarium event.  This concept offers very exciting possibilities for "Migrations" to truly migrate artistically around the world -- from Times Square in NYC to a mountaintop outside of Madrid, Spain.  The performance is being created specifically to engage the full capability of the "Immersive" experience sonically and visually.  We want your advice, feedback and opinions so please join us on Nov. 6th for this remarkable event

WE INVITE YOU TO DONATE TO OUR KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN - we have 20 supporters, but we don't get any of the money unless our goal is reached. Please help us reach this worthy goal - a percentage of the profits will benefit the c3 and the work we are doing to support consciousness in the arts and media.
